Academy Allstars are Surrey's favourite Pop / Rock Cover wedding band for hire. Performing all of your favourite dance floor fillers, from the likes of Bruno Mars and Abba, Academy Allstars guarantee to make your wedding party one to remember!

Academy Allstars are a very experienced live band and regularly entertain at weddings in Surrey and surrounding areas. The band come fully self-contained with professional PA, lighting and a bespoke pre-mixed disco before and after live sets - so your whole night of entertainment is sorted in just one booking! On top of that, the band will even perform your choice of first dance!

If you're looking to extend the live music to cover your ceremony or drinks reception, Academy Allstars offer a live lounge style acoustic set which can create the perfect atmosphere for the early part of the day.

We thought they covered our first song superbly well, especially as we had asked for the song to be shortened, but the guests thought they collectively nailed it! Unlike our dancing to it! It really was a small venue and I did initially have some concerns that the guests might get blown away by the volume but my concerns were not needed the sound was spot on. The band arrived to set up during the end of our wedding meal, as planned. They were very discreet and professional and did not disrupt the ongoing events, which was great. The first dance was just as we had hoped and the band did a really good rendition of our chosen song. The venue had a sound limiter, which did kick in occasionally, however, the band were clearly very used to working with this sort of system and managed it very well with minimal impact to the ongoing music and dancing. How long do you take to set-up?
60 minutes.

What time do you play?
Any time to suit you, standard prices are for 2 hours of live music, anytime between 7pm and midnight.

How long do you play for?
We can perform 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets in the evening and also provide a pre-mixed disco (tailored to your tastes) before and after live sets, so your whole night of entertainment is covered in one booking. Our guitarist Oliver can also perform 1 x 60 miniute acoustic guitar set as an add-on, which is perfect for during drinks or dinner.

Do you have your own PA and lighting?
Yes – all included in the price.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
Yes.

Will you perform our first dance?
Yes, as long as we have two weeks notice we will learn the first dance of your choice.

How much space do you require?
We have played in some very small spaces, but ideally a minimum of around 2.5m x 5m.

How much power do you require?
2 x 13 amp sockets is fine for our system.

Do I need to provide food/drinks?
Ideally soft drinks and a hot meal or buffet. But this is certainly not a deal breaker so if you can’t provide this, just let us know in advance and we’ll bring food & drink with us.
