These guys performed at our wedding as a 9-piece, where we happened to have a large number of serious musicians as guests! They were simply superb. The pre-wedding discussions about the playlist sets were easy and detailed, and they performed every song as requested. We had The Big Smoke at our wedding, and it was the most fantastic band we could have ever imagined. A set list perfectly designed to keep guests jumping on the dance floor, wonderful communication in the lead up to the wedding and everything in place so my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything at all on the day. We had The Big Smoke for our wedding in July and we were beyond impressed. All our guests have commented on how good the band were at getting everyone up and dancing and also sounded fantastic! The day was so perfect and we loved every minute. It was such a pleasure to have everyone together in one place, especially considering the last year - we felt there was such a sense of relief and happiness. We honestly can't rate the band highly enough, they were absolutely amazing and we loved every second of them playing. They made our wedding! The vocals were fantastic and song choices exactly what we wanted. The first dance song was performed so beautifully too. We've had so many compliments about them and all our guests thought they were amazing too. In terms of logistics they were very professional setting up quickly, flexible in changing the sets from 2 to 3 due to other timings in the evening and the band manager Joe was communicative throughout. The band was amazing - definitely the highlight of the reception. Our guests were absolutely blown away by their song choice, energy, and talent, and we really appreciated them learning two songs just for us, our first dance song and “Africa” by Toto.
